From everyone at Atlas Contract Furniture, we would like to wish you all a very happy New Year!
We are delighted with the company’s progress in 2016 and are looking forward to what lies ahead in 2017. We wanted to briefly recap on some of the most significant news at Atlas Contract Furniture over the past year.
2016 has been a great year for our team, with the company continuing to grow and consistently delivering high quality contract furniture in the UK and further afield.
We were delighted to welcome back a familiar face this year; Alex Giordano rejoined the team. Alex was a start-up member in the company and has now returned as our Business Development Manager to help the company develop and expand further. As well as Alex, we were also lucky enough to welcome Misha Aleksic to the team, as our new Senior Sales Manager.
We now have the ability to spray liquid metal using the new LiquiMet system, allowing us to transform any substrate by converting its appearance to that of solid metal. This is not only an ideal aesthetic but also a highly resilient material, protecting and future-proofing base materials.
Both donating to a great cause and treating our taste buds, we held our very own bake sale this year, for MacMillan charity. Everyone got involved and all those who baked made a great effort. We had plenty of sweet treats to choose from (as you can see) and managed to raise over £100 to donate to the charity. We're already licking our lips in anticipation for the next bake sale in 2017 – a happy New Year indeed!
2016 saw the completion of many ACF projects. We would like to share two of our favourites with you:
In this case, the client required us to work on two areas; a dining area and a lounge bar. We delivered stunning results, using a variety of styles to create a luxury feel which we were confident would meet the client’s needs. Not only does the furniture focus on style; it was also designed with comfort in mind, so guests can relax fully.
Here, we designed and manufactured bespoke seating for Rick Stein’s restaurant in Marlborough. The client was looking for a stylish and contemporary interior so this is what we delivered. Meeting the requirements in a variety of styles, we focused on quality and sophistication to achieve the end result.
So, we have established that 2016 was most definitely a year of success, so what’s next for Atlas Contract Furniture in 2017?
We are all excited to welcome Mark Trevatt to the team, taking up the position of Upholstery Production Manager. With 30 years’ experience in the industry, we are confident that Mark will play an important role in the company’s growing success.
After a successful website update in the UK, we are looking to launch new websites for both France and Sweden in 2017, showcasing all of our work and services and reaching a wider audience.
This year, we are also putting extra effort into supplying Loose Furniture. We will be releasing a new catalogue shortly, where you will be able to find out more.
Last but not least, we are all thrilled to be welcoming another new member to the team. Sorry Alex, Misha and Mark, but this little lad might have just stolen your thunder; meet Sheldon, our adorable new office dog…
And finally, we would like to say a special thank you to all our amazing clients and staff. We’re looking forward to working with you all into 2017 and building new working relationships also.
