The Bermuda Triangle is a pub in Poole, Dorset. Uniquely positioned on the corner or Parr Street and St Peter's Road, off the beaten track from the A35 Commercial Road.
This part of Poole is a bit of a cultural hub with anything from full classical orchestras performing at St Peter's Church to House music DJs at the Bermuda Triangle itself. We've seen both.
The pub commissioned L-Shaped seating to go in their VIP area. The pub boasts many assets including excellent food and a secret music venue hidden behind a bookcase. The DJ area is a small affair, with people dancing in close proximity. The VIP area is a small section away from the hive of activity, an ideal place for banquette seating. Patrons can dance the night away in one part and rest or socialise on the seating. The corner seating allows for more bodies per metre than conventional chairs, making use of the small amount of space available.
The banquette seating is plain upholstered with contrast piping. Being serpentine sprung it is comfortable with a little bounce but also strong and hard wearing. To compliment the nightclub theme, the seating is fitted with LED lights. As it is Poseur Height seating, the icing on the cake is a beautiful antique brass footrail which adorns it.
