Bosco pizzeria is a small independent restaurant chain celebrating Italian dining and Atlas Contract Furniture was responsible for providing the bespoke banquette seating in the Cardiff restaurant.
Own Luck Studio, who specialises in branding and commercial interior design, led the project. Their aim was to create a restaurant interior that can accommodate both boisterous family meals and secluded moments for two.
With this goal in mind and with the layout and interior dimensions provided, we set out to design curved banquette benches that would maximise the number of diners for the space. Curved banquette seating is a great option for a restaurant interior, allowing diners to converse easily and adding aesthetic appeal to a space. With this project, we made two types of curved banquette seats, with one design being a deeper curve to allow space for a bigger dining table and more guests.
Matching with the restaurant exterior, the deep rouge velvet upholstery has been finished in a fluted back style. Situated amongst the dark woods and dim lighting of the restaurant, the seats look classic and inviting.
