Coastal Vibes Cruises passenger boat refurb project was completed in 2025 ahead of the peak summer season. Working directly with Carlin Boat Charters Ltd, this was an extensive commercial furniture project that required multiple units of bespoke banquette seating.
As the main furniture supplier for Sunseekers, Atlas Contract Furniture is no stranger to working on maritime-based projects. We understand the unique floorplan layouts, elevations and materials required to make furniture function in a space surrounded by water. Detailed plans were created to prepare for the project to guarantee exact measurements and that no elements were missed, such as the under seat storage space for life jackets.
This project comprised of straight runs of window banquette seating, as well as booth seating for tables of two and tables of up to 8. We also provided the dining tables with the anchor floor fixed bases powder coated in our spray studio to match the bright interior. Finally, we produced the bespoke rattan screens that run through the middle seating, zoning the two halves of the room.
The interior design mixes playful textures and a vibrant colour palette to create a space ideal for social events along the coast. The banquette seating style is consistent throughout, with a slash-fluted back style with a plain faux leather base. This is a classic style, particularly for commercial spaces that host a large volume of traffic, since the quality will withstand the test of time.
