The Ivy Nottingham Brasserie - Complete Commercial Seating Fit-Out

Working with the specialist project managers and fit-out company McCue, The Ivy Nottingham Brasserie project completed at the end of 2025. Atlas Contract Furniture have been fortunate to work with McCue on a number of projects, which helped lay a solid foundation for such a complex project. 

The Ivy in Nottingham seats diners across three floors, including a private dining area. A lot of planning was required for the large venue, including site visits to ensure measurements were spot-on and no corner was missed. 

A large amount of bespoke seating was needed to fill the restaurant that had over 7,000 bookings before it even opened. The full project comprised of banks of curved booths, long stretches of benches that fit bespoke angled corners and back-to-back large U-booths. The interior design of the restaurant is in keeping with the art-deco vibe that is consistent across the restaurant chain, so an eclectic mix of fabrics and leathers was sourced to add a touch of luxury to the banquette seats.

In the ground floor main restaurant area, seating was to be fixed around the outskirts of the room and the standout bar. A bank of two curved booths create zones perfect for parties of up to five to dine around circular tables. The design is a deep button back in a striking paradise print fabric upholstery and the base is particularly bespoke, with removable lift off seats for inconspicuous functionality. 

In the centre of the ground floor restaurant is back-to-back large u-booth seating that perfectly sections the venue to seat up to six tables of two on either side. The upholstery is in keeping with the bespoke banquettes on the outer areas, with a deep button back style, but this time in a warm amber-coloured velvet and paired with a tan leather base. Upstairs in the private dining area, two small corner booths sit at the entrance of the room and a u-booth window seat has been fitted, giving the venue an added sense of luxury as well as helping to make the private room multi-functional.

All of the bespoke banquette seating was wrapped and delivered with care to Nottingham city centre, where our installation team worked efficiently around other trades, suppliers and designers to ensure it was fixed in place correctly. The finished result of the restaurant is polished and in-keeping with The Ivy's trademark aesthetic and the Atlas team are proud to have been a part of this premium dining experience in Nottingham.
