As part of the Atlas Group, we have a highly skilled team of spray finishers, specialising in timber, metal & plastic products for interior and exterior use. We can apply stains, lacquers, solid colours, deep polyester gloss, amongst many others, and special effects such as antiqued and distressed finishes.

STAINS
Staining penetrates the wood with a pigment; different thinners will offer different finishes. A great choice to keep some of the natural characteristics of the timber.

LACQUERS
Lacquers give a hard, durable finish and assist in protecting from general wear and tear, providing a long-lasting performance that will hold up to years of use.

SOLID COLOURS
A solid colour finish can be achieved in reference to a colour chart or system such as RAL. A uniform one-colour finish is created.

ANTIQUING
Our antiquing process involves the application of an antiqued aesthetic through the use of colour to make the given product appear aged.

DISTRESSING
Typically used solely in addition to antiquing, our distressing process involves the application of distress characteristics to the material; the material is skilfully worn, scuffed and distressed.

RUBBED THROUGH PAINT FINISHES
Rubbed through paint finishes are created through the application of lighter upon darker coats of paint. This finish is tactically sanded to expose areas of the darker coat, giving a rustic and authentic look.

COLOUR AND FINISH MATCHING
Our spray technician can match and replicate both colour and aesthetic details within our spray department. This may encompass any of our standard finishes through to something more bespoke.

POLYESTER DEEP GLOSSING
A thick mirror-like glossy finish. Polyester layers are built up, and finalised with a polyurethane top coat. This process captures a luxurious and modern aesthetic.

EXTERIOR FINISHING
Finishes suitable for outside use. Increased resistance to weather, and the outdoor environment.

REFINISHING
We can take your project up to any point in the refinishing process; from simply just removing an old finish, right the way through to a full refinishing restoration or alternative look.

LIQUI-MET
Liqui-Met is a decorative, cold applied sprayable metal coating that enables you to transform any substrate and give the impression that it is solid metal.

We also get involved in many types of metal finishing, from metal decorative frameworks, to windows.

BARRIER/FIRE COATINGS
There are a range of barrier coatings available, from medical use for it's antibacterial properties, to fire retardant coatings, such as required for Class 0 and Class 1.
