Sales Coordinator

Atlas Contract Furniture manufacture and install banquette seating to a wide range of dining, leisure and entertainment establishments throughout the UK and beyond including some worldwide brands.

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 pa subject to knowledge and experience

Job overview:

To provide a hub for communication between clients, Account Managers and the Operations of the business to streamline the communications and allow Account Managers to maximise the proportion of their time they spend on selling as opposed to admin.

To further strengthen the Atlas / Client closeness of relationships and service level by attentiveness to their needs and efficient communication.

To support and underpin the Head of Sales and Marketing to allow him to operate more managerially and strategically.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 9.00am - 5.00pm. Flexibility will be required in busy periods.

As Sales Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

Responding to all internal and client information requirements to enable the speedy processing of the enquiry through to confirmed order.

From the point of order, responding to all clarifications, changes, sample requirements and details to maximise the potential for an impressive service to the Client and maximise internal efficiency through to installed project.

From the point of completed installation, be the first point of liaison in the event of subsequent damages, concerns, questions

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • A positive attitude - you will be objective driven, focused and self-motivated
  • You will have a high level of customer service and have strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • Strong project management skills with a high level of initiative and judgment
  • Strong written and verbal skills that can work well with the different personalities
  • Tenacious and resilient, with a great attitude towards problem solving
  • Organised/efficient and conscientious
  • Computer literate - basic working knowledge of excel / database management
  • Can adapt to shifting priorities quickly and gracefully
  • A good eye for detail
  • Ideally you'll live within working distance of Christchurch, and you're looking for an opportunity to work within a well-established design and manufacturing company.
